Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis recently went their separate ways publicly after 14 years of marriage. Of course those of us in the know said their relationship was all over but the crying months ago. They have two young children together and the custody battle is about to begin, so strap on your typecasting and phone Tim Burton! 
 
Hollywood Hiccups has the inside track on the story: “Vanessa is furious and ready for a fight, she wants Johnny to spend as little time as possible with the children.  She does not want her children exposed to any of his new girlfriends.  The children are already distraught at the loss of their father.” 
 
Johnny Depp allegedly offered Vanessa Paradis $100 million to make it all go away. That is the cost of a small island in the Caribbean. Oh, wait, they already have one… 
 
There are conflicting rumors of Johnny Depp dating his co-star, Amber Heard, who is a self-declared bisexual – Johnny got with her during the filming of the tedious film The Rum Diaries.  Since Johnny has been hot and heavy with Amber, Vanessa Paradis has been heartbroken and out in the cold – and now she has turned bitter. 
 
Vanessa, it is usually not wise to imply to Lilly Rose and Jack that their father’s new girlfriends are walking Centers for Disease Control. They don’t infect people with Ebola. They merely copulate. 
 
We’re wondering whether this whole custody battle will be more “300” than “Full Metal Jacket” and where the kids will end up in all of this. A divorce is difficult for an entire family, especially the innocent children, so we’re truly hoping that this whole custody battle results in an amicable split.  Fat chance of that happening – you know, a woman scorned and all that.  Vanessa is already trying to use her kids to hurt Johnny.

Did Johnny Depp really walk away from his 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis for Amber Heard?? Well, let’s think about this. There has been a lot of speculation as of late ever since Depp and Paradis, the mother of his two children, finally admitted to the public that they had in fact split up. What took them so long – considering they hadn’t been seen together publicly in ages – I have no idea, but split they sure did. 
 
And now there are all these reports of Vanessa finding text messages from Johnny’s Rum Diary co-star, Amber Heard. Ok, so text messages are one thing, but do this mean the two are in cahoots? Amber has been very clear that she is interested in the ladies, and has been in a relationship with a female photographer for quite some time. 
 
So why was both Johnny and Amber spotted together in Las Vegas earlier this year, and why are their reports that he bought Amber a horse, and why oh why is she visiting him on the set of The Lone Ranger? They’re ‘just friends’ I suppose. 
 
Depp, who is 49 (man I am getting old!) and Amber, 26, claim that they became really close after bonding on set, but that they are in no way romantically linked. My sources are pretty adamant that Amber is contently happy in her relationship, and only tangles with women. So does this mean Depp is having a mid-life and chasing after an impossible dream? Sounds about right…

Johnny Depp’s 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis is finally over leaving room for the most eligible bachelor in Hollywood to play again, but will his close proximity to old love, Winona Ryder, get those old feelings coming back? 
 
OK, bear with me here. This is a stretch, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen. Were you as obsessed with Ryder and Depp as I was? They were like the original Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. They were young and volatile and dark and esoteric and cool. They were so freaking cool! And then it was over. Depp went on to supermodel Kate Moss and 19-year-old Winona was left to wade the cruel waters of fame alone and lost. We all know what happened. She stole some things, got in trouble, whatever, it’s over. He went on to cheat on Vanessa Paradis probably with Amber Heard and his publicist Robin Baum and, most likely, many others. 
 
But now, Depp and Winona are mixing in the same circles again. Winona just finished filming Frankenweenie with Depp’s bestie Tim Burton. Depp and Winona got together while filming Burton’s Edward Scissorhands. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Will Burton try to hook that up again? Burton and Winona will be spending time together promoting the film. How could Johnny not come up? Johnny’s still got the Winona Forever tattoo on his arm, though it’s been changed. They’ve had their issues since they parted. I’m just saying… if the gossip fairy wants to make my day, month, year and life, he would bring those two back together again. Don’t you agree? 
 
Is this too out of left field? For the ordinary people, I might say yes. But this is Depp and Winona. They march to the beat of their own drums and I wouldn’t put it past them to rekindle their love affair 20 years after they ended it. His tattoo might say Wino now, but it still says forever. Don’t pretend like you wouldn’t want to see it happen! But I wonder why Depp wasn’t in Frankenweenie. He’s in every Burton film. Did he pass because Winona joined? I hope not. That would ruin my theory so we’ll just say he was too busy!

There has been lots of gossip recently about Johnny Depp and the speculation about his separation from Vanessa Paradis. As we reported on CDL, ‘Johnny was bored senseless and he wanted out of the relationship for a really long time.’ A pretty cruel accusation, but that’s not all that people have to say about old Johnny, they actually speculate that Johnny may have been having affairs with many other woman. 
 
Even Johnny’s publicist, Robin Baum, is a candidate for having an affair with him, “Robin and Johnny spend a lot of time together obviously because of work but their relationship seems to be getting much closer than just business, Robin is twice divorced and a mom but she and Johnny really seem to have some kind of crazy connection that goes way beyond a professional level.” 
 
“They travel a lot together for work and get to spend a lot of time together and they definitely have a total flirty vibe between them. I would put money on them having more than just a friendly relationship.” It would seem that people want us to believe that Johnny has practically slept with tons of women and if that were the case, I don’t think many women would mind! 
 
I have to say that I can’t see Johnny Depp being this big time player, sleeping with all these women while he was ‘married.’ In my opinion, Johnny looks really shy all the time, when he’s not acting, every interview I see him in, he is very quiet. Besides, looking at Robin Baum, I don’t see why he’d have an affair with her, not being mean or anything but she’s not anything I’d consider as hot hottie hot or even a bit hot. But you know; whatever bloats your goat I guess. 
 
One thing is for sure, Johnny Depp is now single and a ton of women around the world couldn’t be happier!

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis – their relationship in pictures

We’re still so sad that one of the world’s most genetically blessed couples have split up. Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis announced the end of their 14-year relationship with a short statement from his official spokes person. 
Until recently, Johnny and Vanessa had seemed like one of showbiz’s most stable and happy couple, shunning the celebrity lifestyle to focus on family life with their children. But since January this year they’ve been beset by rumours that they’d grown apart, with a source as recently as last month blabbing that they were working on their relationship. 
Johnny and Vanessa – who have two children together Lily-Rose, 13 and Jack 9 – met in Paris in 1998 when Johnny had split up from supermodel Kate Moss. They had home in Los Angeles and in the South of France. They hadn’t been pictured together at a public event since 2010. 
Back in that same year, Vanessa said of her man, “I could make an endless list of all the things I admire about him. We understand that if we want our relationship to continue, we must give each other space, allow each other to go off on our own and trust each other. Not everyone is lucky enough to be given space and trust.” 
While Johnny has spoken in the past about how his Vanessa and parenthood have changed his life, 
“It's changed everything. It's the greatest thing. It's not enough to say that – it's the only thing. I went through 35 years in a very strange and dark fog and I never really understood what the point was to anything in life. 
“It wasn't until Vanessa and the birth of Lily-Rose that I finally realised there's something to live for.” 
And now we’re feeling even sadder that things haven’t work out.

We were pretty glum to hear the news of another celebrity break up this evening – Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have split up after 14 years together. 
The couple made their sad announcement through Johnny’s publicist, who revealed the pair had “amicably separated". Serious sad face. 
Johnny and Vanessa - who have two children together; 13-year-old Lily Rose and nine-year-old Jack - have been denying rumours of a break up since January, but haven’t actually been seen at a public event together since way back in 2010. In fact, just last month a source close to the couple revealed that they were “working on” getting their relationship back on track. 
Still, the sad announcement was made tonight to US title Entertainment Tonight - simply saying, "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children."

Johnny and Vanessa met in 1998 when they both found themselves in the Costes Hotel in Paris. It's thought that Johnny made the first move with some help from a friend who was coaxed into doing the whole awkward 'my mate fancies you' thing. Soon after, Vanessa was completely smitten with the actor - and it seemed he was with her, too. 
Johnny even began openly explaining in interviews just how deep their relationship had become. 
"You can't plan the kind of deep love that results in children," he explained. "Fatherhood was not a conscious decision. It was part of the wonderful ride I was on. It was destiny; kismet. All the math finally worked." 
Vanessa was also happy to talk passionately about Johnny. 
In 2010, she told Marie Claire UK, "I could make an endless list of all the things i admire about him. We understand that if we want our relationshop to continue, we must give each other space, allow each other to go off on our own and trust each other. Not everyone is lucky enough to be given space and trust." 
Sadly, it seems it was that space that ended up dividing the couple and US reports suggest the pair had begun 'living separate lives' after moving to France from Los Angeles.
