Sources state that Suri’s $40 000 per annum school erected a cardboard tunnel to protect her “privacy” from the prying lenses of photographers.<br /> <br /> This might be an ingenious way for a normal mother to protect her kid from the patchy-faced serial killers out there, but keeping the paparazzi at bay for Suri might be taking it a tad bit too far. Excuse us if we’re ignorant, but how does it work? Do Katie Holmes and Suri pitch up at school in an inconspicuous limousine and crawl to Art class on their knees? Does Katie scream “Get down Suri!” when they exit the pimped up limo? We know our darling doe-eyed Katie has always had a penchant for being overly dramatic, but Suri isn’t Criss Angel, nor is she playing E.T. with paparazzi fingers. She’s only trying to get to school!<br /> <br /> Katie, why don’t you make the kid feel normal for once? Why not offer the paparazzi tickets to a Scientology convention? Why not take Suri inside with your hand wrapped around hers, like any normal mother would do? What if the other kids bully Suri for her make-shift fantasy tunnel straight out of a science-fiction film? You wouldn’t be able to save her, nor would you be able to put her in a bubble. One thing is for certain though, being snapped at a nightclub that Tara Reid stumbles out of is never good for the image. You’re just guilty by association!<br /> Tom’s had a busy European summer vacation, no? He’s currently in London hitting on Cameron Diaz and filming his new Jack Reacher film but I found out today he hasn’t seen Suri Cruise in over a month. I know he takes filming seriously but isn’t that a bit much especially since the flight from London to NYC is only seven hours at most? What’s the deal Tom? Are you having some kind of mid-life crisis, some sort of existential dilemma?<br /> <br /> I don’t fault Tom for going out and having a good time. He might be crazy but he got his heart smashed this summer by Katie Holmes and is probably still reeling. He can have some superstar time and let the ladies flutter around him. He looks good right now and maybe he’s auditioning wives, who knows? I just think it’s odd that he’s been away from Suri so long. I know he needs to work but… does he really? He has tons of money! Hollywood women take time away from their careers to raise their children all the time (see also: Natalie Portman). Why doesn’t Tom think to do the same? Maybe Katie asked him to stay away so Suri could get acclimated to school? What dirt does she have on him??? Or is Tom nursing a broken heart and hiding out because it’s just too hard to be around his ex-family? That’s the sweet version and the one I’d like to stick with but Tom’s not sweet. For some people, yeah!<br /> <br /> According to E! Online, Cruise’s attorney Bert Fields is taking action against The National Enquirer! He apparently sent a three-page letter to the magazine saying that they were big fat liars AND if they don’t release an immediate apology and make a retraction to the story, they WILL throw a big fat defamation suit against the outlet.

The movie is shooting there now, but the picture was obviously taken during down time. Filming began in late March, which is about the last time Katie and Tom were papped together. On April 5 Katie took Suri down to Baton Rouge to visit her dad on the set and the couple were seen walking around hand in hand with Katie’s robotic smile fixed in place.<br /> <br /> So what happened since then? Could Katie have noticed Tom’s interest in Olga? The 32-year-old is known for her steamy scenes and smoldered in <b>Flaunt magazine’s</b> recent Denim issue. She told the mag, “[Being from a working class family in the Ukraine] helps me to keep my feet on the ground, and there’s no danger of ever taking them off the ground.
