Brooke Vincent: ‘Rumours about Max George do bother Michelle Keegan’

Having a relationship in the public eye must be tough enough without getting engaged, calling it off and then trying to convince everybody you’re still together. 
 
As Michelle Keegan once again spoke out and claimed her and Max George are still very much in love – despite not being pictured together in months and calling off their engagement – her friend Brooke Vincent has admitted the Coronation Street star does find things tough sometimes.

Brooke, 20, exclusively told heatworld: “I think sometimes it does get to her, because as much as everyone wants to know what’s going on, that’s her relationship, her feelings and her thoughts, so I think it must do her head in. 
 
“Michelle is a very strong person. She’s very clever – I’d be going mad if that was me. I hate the fact that people think they can get involved in your relationship. Because Max and Michelle got together in the public eye, people think they’re ok to talk about it or alright to comment on it, but you never know the truth." 
 
 
 
Michelle, 25, this week told Fabulous magazine the only reason her and Max, 23, had called off their engagement was because their schedules were too busy to organise an actual wedding. 
 
"He's away in America most of the time now and we just had a word about it. I'm a traditionalist so if I'm engaged, I want to get married and that's not happening soon. 
 
"I was getting asked by everyone: 'Have you set a date? Have you been shopping with your mum? Have you chosen your dress?' So we just thought that we'd just say we're not engaged and then nobody will ask and there's no pressure."

While it’s only been just a few months since Jason Segal and Michelle Williams went public with their relationship, Segal admitted that he is ‘totally smitten’ with the Oscar-winning actress. 
 
The two appeared together at an after party for the premiere of Michelle’s film, Take This Waltz at Manhattan’s Sons of Essex restaurant Thursday night, and a close friend of the couple said that Jason hasn’t been this happy in forever. “It’s like the first girl he’s ever been this way with.” 
 
Well isn’t that nice to hear. Michelle herself has gone through her fair share of heartbreak, her ex Heath Ledger and father to her daughter Matilda passed away of an accidental overdose a couple years ago and has only been linked to a select few of men. 
 
Segal, 32, and Williams, 31, mingled at the after party and only had eyes for each other.  So is the relationship serious?  It appears as though it is indeed.  They have tried to keep their outings low-key, but another source has said that Jason is “obsessed” with Michelle, and has even bonded with 6-year-old Matilda. 
 
The couple met each other through Michelle’s best friend and his former Freaks and Geeks costar Busy Philipps, so no doubt she approves. It’s nice to see Michelle looking happy and in love these days, and who better to fall for than funny man Jason.  Next up for the couple is Michelle’s film, while Jason has been busy promoting The Five-Year Engagement.
