They thought they were doing her a favor by pointing out that she came across like a pretentious blow up doll and neither Alexis nor her (puppet master) controlling husband, Jim, ever took it with a shred of grace. Alexis did what she always does. She patted herself on the back while playing victim in front of the cameras. According to Us Weekly, enough is finally enough for “Jesus Jugs”. (Hey, Tamra Barney called her that first, not me!)</P><br /><P>“Alexis was really tired of being bullied and chose home and family life over celebrity,” the insider explains of Bellino’s decision to stop filming. Though she is said to have begun contract negotiations with Bravo, the former Housewife “wanted to go back to her simple life in Orange County.”</EM></P><br /><P>At one point the Bellino’s were seriously considering taking legal action against cast mates, such as Barney. They’d even issued a statement through Us saying,</P><br /><P>We have continually tried to take the high road, however, if necessary, we are prepared to defend ourselves against these unfounded, slanderous and defamatory remarks to the fullest extent of the law.”</EM></P><br /><P></EM>Thankfully, that drastic step was never taken but it seems to me, after threatening such a thing the writing was pretty much on the wall here for Alexis. I have to wonder if she began contract negotiations just to be able to say that she did. I wonder if there was ever any real intent to ink a deal for another season. Do you think Alexis was ever coming back?</P><br /><P>I’m sure she’ll be pretty easy for Bravo to replace. It is Orange County where surgically crafted bodies and blonde extensions are a dime a dozen. I just wonder if the next chick in the door will be as much of a dingbat as Alexis has been. It depends on which lady you ask, as the two seem to have very different versions of what happened.<br /> <br /> If you talk to Alexis, she will say that it is because this season, Gretchen became friends with their co-star and once bitter enemy, Tamra Barney, who Alexis called “poisonous” on Part One of last night’s Reunion episode. Alexis believes that Gretchen’s opinion of her has been influenced by Tamra, who has made no secret of the fact that she is not fond of Alexis.<br /> <br /> If you talk to Gretchen, she will say that Tamra had nothing to do with it. Gretchen claims that Alexis’s behavior towards her changed after she and Tamra became friends. She says Alexis started acting paranoid and insecure. Gretchen also insists that her heart was in the right place on the Housewives’s trip to Costa Rica, where Gretchen joined in on what Tamra and rookie co-star, <b>Heather Dubrow</b>, called an “intervention” on Alexis, where they called her out on what they perceive as her constant name-dropping and attempts to prove she is wealthy.<br /> <br /> In last night’s Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion (Part 1) episode, Gretchen insists to Alexis that she cares for her. “I love you enough to jeopardize the friendship to tell you the truth!” she laments.<br /> <br /> If that’s the case, one can’t help but wonder why Gretchen did not tell Alexis this “truth” before? It was only after she and Tamra became friends that Gretchen decided to tell Alexis “the truth” about the way her behavior comes across to others. Granted, some may say Alexis’s comment about the private jet is a prime example of what the other ladies are referring to when they say she constantly feels a need to prove how wealthy she is, but that never seemed to bother Gretchen before. Or, if it did bother her before, she never felt the need to voice it until she became friends with Tamra.<br /> <br /> Nonetheless, as the seventh season of The Real Housewives of County comes to an end next Monday, many are wondering where former best friends stand now. Teresa uses it as a photo op for her girls.  She dresses them identically in overalls and takes pictures of them pushing a wheelbarrow. <b>Rosie </b>shows up to talk to Teresa about all the tabloid crap.  Ro confronts her on whether or not Teresa is planting stuff in the media again.  C’mon already.  If everyone says Teresa admitted to planting stories why are we discussing it every week.  We already know that Teresa says and does whatever it takes to make it into the tabloids.  Teresa also tells Ro about how she’ll be going to therapy with her brother.<br /> <br /> <b>Joe Gorja </b>is sitting down with <b>Cathy</b> and Rosie and he tells them he is contemplating therapy with Teresa.  Ro poses the question that is on everyone’s mind, is Teresa trying to fix things with the family because she (at least momentarily) has lost Jacqueline and Caroline?<br /> <br /> <b>Caroline </b>and <b>Jacqueline</b> are having dinner together with their families and they seem pretty united in the fact that they want nothing to do with Teresa.  Meanwhile Kathy and Joe and Melissa are prepping their Sunday dinner.  In her words, “If you’re Italian and from New Jersey, Sunday means family.”  <br /> <br /> Caroline and Jacqueline are worried sick about <b>Ashley’s</b> plan to move to LA all on her own.  Jacqueline says she will not enable her daughter any more and that Ashley will be on her own in LA with no job and little money. As her husband put it, ‘She’s giving her just enough rope to hang herself.”<br /> <br /> Teresa decides to lie to her girls and tell them she is going to lunch with her brother Joe, rather than tell them it’s a therapy session. Joe believes that therapy is all that will save their relationship.  He doesn’t believe he’ll get his old sister back but he is hopeful he may learn to like this version.<br /> <br /> Jacqueline is still broken up over ending her friendship with Teresa.  She’s taking it all like a bad breakup and the shame in the matter is that while she is crying over the loss, Teresa could care less.<br /> <br /> Teresa goes in to talk to the therapist  first as Joe waits outside.  She basically rips Joe’s wife apart, as usual.  It’s the same old story, Melissa pulled Joe away from Teresa and she lost her brother. She’s never done anything to disrespect him, blah blah blah.  Obviously Teresa has no idea how she treats her brother or comes across to others.  This therapist tells her he thinks she has a bad temper and does a lot of stomping away from disputes.<br /> <br /> When it’s Joe’s turn to talk to the therapist it goes much better. He explains that Teresa puts down his wife and it chases him away.  The therapist seems to believe and side with Joe. He brings Teresa back into the room to talk. He suggests they let the old grievances go and aim to have Sunday dinner together in the present tense.  She wants to rent an RV and have both of their families drive together to Napa. The therapist strongly believes it’s a horrible idea and of course, Teresa wants to prove him wrong. Joe decides to bring up the situation with their parents. Joe has supposedly sold his parents home out from beneath them and Teresa and Joe are going to put them up- according to a tabloid. A huge fight breaks out. He is mad because Teresa makes herself look good in the press, yet her brother has picked up the tab for 12 years.  Tune in next week to find out if these two will resolve this confict or if it’ll escalate like usual.

Mayor <b>Michael Bloomberg</b> and Democratic Governor <b>Andrew Cuomo</b> also participated in yesterday’s festivities.<br /> <br /> Also in the parade was <b>Cyndi Lauper</b>, as the grand Marshall.<br /> <br /> Same sex marriage is now legal in eight states of the USA, with Massachusetts being the first to legalize it in 2004, followed by Connecticut (2008), Iowa (2009), Vermont (2009), New Hampshire (2010), New York (2011), Washington (2012) and Maryland (passed in March 2012, but will not be effective until January 1, 2013).
