Celeb Dirty Laundry can officially confirm that Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” single is the biggest selling single in the entire American Idol world. Pop the champers and get drunk on female empowerment! 
 
As of yesterday (6th July 2012) Kelly Clarkson has taken the lead in sales as “Stronger” sold 3,510,000 units to date, surpassing Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” which has sold 3,509,00 copies to date. “Stronger” also ruled the Billboard Charts, giving Kelly her longest running number 1 hit, after it stayed in 1st spot for three weeks. 
 
Kelly Clarkson might have given Carrie Underwood a run for her money with single sales, but Carrie Underwood is still ahead in total domestic album sales. 
 
Does anyone remember back in Carrie’s season, when American Idol was still the hottest reality show in the world? Simon Cowell favoured her to win and commented after one of her performances, “Not only will you win this show, you will sell more records than any other previous Idol winner.” 
 
Simon, we know you eat puppies for breakfast in your castle made from chocolate, but this fortune telling is getting slightly creepy. All jokes aside, Simon did make One Direction one of the biggest boy bands in the world, so it is no surprise. 
 
Underwood answered to Billboard.com after they asked her if she remembers this comment, “I was very flattered and very happy,” she recalls. “But then I thought, ‘What are the other contestants going to think? They’re going to hate me.’ And it could have worked against me if people didn’t like Simon and were rooting for someone else.” 
 
There you have it readers. Kelly Clarkson is the biggest single selling American Idol in history. 
 
We bet Carrie is stroking her-decked-out-with-golden-shoulder-pads kitten and listening to Dolly Parton while wiping away her soft sweet tears with her golden do.

Paris Hilton was seen recently looking absolutely fabulous as she made her debut as a hip-happenin’ DJ! Fashionably, she’s still at the top, so it’s no surprise to us that she looked absolutely stunning after donning a garish basque outfit. 
 
The eye-catchy it-girl — with her jewel-embellished basque, tights, and dominatrix-style gloves — was definitely a scene stealer while at a music festival in Sao Paulo. 
 
The thirty-one year old (certainly doesn’t look her age!) socialite walked with her marvelous attire as she debuts her music career. Wow, she even had a second outfit – she even had time to change in between sets! 
 
This girl is incredible, as she changed into her short dress from her basque and tights. Well, her dress surely has an intricate pattern which again takes us away from the music, as we always get wowed with her fashion. Her short dress is in black color with some paneling on the sides and print details of abstract splash. 
 
Hilton, who has ‘Model, Actress, Singer, Brand, Business Woman, Fashion Designer, Author, Philanthropist and Empire’ on her Twitter description can now put the DJ label on her list. 
 
Paris Hilton is presently in Brazil for the Sao Paulo Pop Music Festival along with some singers like Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Lopez, who will perform for the Pop Music Festival. The socialite signed some autographs before her performance last evening at the vicinity of Hotel Tivoli; she went straight to Barbacoa Grill for dinner. 
 
She’s been updating her fans about her experience. Excited, Paris tweeted: “On my way to The #PopMusicFestival! I have never been so nervous & excited all at once! Can’t wait to have an incredible night!” 
 
She also tweeted the following: “Busy day preparing for my show tonight. I’m so nervous & excited! I can’t wait to get up there & see #SaoPaolo dance!” 
 
Aside from that, she also made an update saying: “So nice to see so many of my Brazilian fans outside my hotel… So sweet! Love you all…” 
 
And Paris even took the time to mention JLo in her tweet: “@JLo, excited to see you perform tonight at the #PopMusicFestival! Going to be such a fun night!” 
 
She then added hours ago: “On my way to The #PopMusicFestival! I have never been so nervous & excited all at once!” 
 
A lot of people were excited to see her and when she arrived at the airport, she was totally mobbed by the reporters and her supporters. She smiled happily as she posed for pictures and supporters who patiently awaited her arrival. She arrived wearing a beanie, leather jacket, multi-colored top with tribal patterns, black jeans, and boots. Oh, and we can’t forget those oversized sunglasses! — rock chic fashion at its best, I must say. 
 
Since Paris has been a club devotee since she was fifteen, she definitely knows what can make her fans groove and dance on the floor! She said: “I cannot wait to DJ for the first time in front of thousands of people. I have been a part of the music scene and club scene since I was 15.” 
 
Paris Hilton will surely make a lot of people happy, as she said, “It’s something I have been passionate about and have come to respect very much. I am very excited to share all of my hard work with the world.”
