Robert Pattinson and Andrew Garfield aren’t the best of friends
It has been revealed that British stars Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson truly cannot stand each other.
While we just can’t get enough of them both, Andrew is unhappy about comparisons between them, “The truth is, Andrew can’t stand Rob,” An insider tells US Weekly. “Andrew hates that they're put in the same category because they're both English and around the same age.”
With his starring role in the Twilight Saga, R-Patz was leading the new pack of Brit actors to Hollywood stardom, but since Andrew, 28, has landed the role of Spider-Man, do we sense a bit of jealousy from the 26-year-old Twilight hunk?
There have been rumours that Robert Pattinson wanted the part of heartthrob Spider-Man, so no wonder the Hollywood hunks are in competition. The insider went onto say, “Both like intense parts and go after the same roles, they're just naturally competitive.”
Maybe they could go head to head in a Twilight/Spider-Man saucy saga? Now that’s what we call celeb entertainment.
Spiderman star, Andrew Garfield has since spun the web thicker with a sources also telling Us Weekly, “Andrew considers himself a ‘serious actor’ and sees Rob as the equivalent of a cheesy boy bander because of Twilight.”
