Calling all Cheryl Cole fans, it's been announced that the siner's first official autobiography will be released later this autumn, that is, according to publisher HarperCollins.
The tell all book, which will go on sale October 11th, will reportedly feature all the gossip on her friendship with 'frenemy' Simon Cowell and detail how he allegedly told the star to dump her cheating husband, footballer Ashley Cole, and sought her help as he tried to escape his engagement to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy.
Red Carpet Reads, a Twitter account for the book's publisher tweeted today,
'HUGE news! This autumn we're publishing the 100% official autobiography of the beautiful and talented @Cherylcole ?#CantwaitforCherylsBook?!'
Cheryl had previously expressed her interest in writing a book to help her to "start a clean slate" as she entered her thirties, saying,
"The past ten years have been incredible - the whole of my 20s. That would be amazing to put into words, and go into my 30s with a clean slate. But then I think, 'I can't be bothered'."
Cheryl - in a further dig to her old pal Simon - revealed that in her book, the Syco boss would only "get a footnote if he's lucky."
Well that hardly seems fair, as Cheryl features heavily in Simon's unauthorised biography released earlier this year. The book reads,
"She would come in dressed in her tracksuit and slippers, drop her eyes and play the soulful victim to get around me. She played me...When she walked over, I felt I was the mouse with a beautiful cat. I adored her." Pass the bucket.
Which of you Heatworld citizens will be queueing up to delve into the former Girls Aloud star's upcoming autobiography? We think it could make an interesting holiday read.
