Bad news guys – as much as we wanted to believe it was true, George Michael has said the rumours that he and Wham! pal Andrew Ridgeley are getting back together are just not true.
Better put our short shorts away then…
We got all excited when we heard the Wake Me Up stars were getting back together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their first hit single, Wham! Rap.
But George’s camp insists that the only thing he’s doing to celebrate the single entering the charts on 29 June 1982, is releasing his own new track White Light.
White Light is due for release 12 August.

The rumours started when an insider told the Daily Mirror that ‘everybody is really excited about them getting back together.’
“George and Andrew have often said their Club Tropicana days are well behind them.
“But seeing as their anniversary coincides with George releasing new material, it's one of those 'now or never' moments.
“They probably won't do a long tour or release new material like Take That but they do want to commemorate the event with a big gig ... And an even bigger party afterwards!
“Things are still in the early stages but everybody is getting really excited about it.”
This is almost as disappointing as hearing that S Club 7's reunion actually only includes three of them...
