We always thought there would be a whole bunch of perks to having a celebrity best friend; getting on any party guest list, always have a fabulous outfit to borrow, them just throwing money at us, that kind of thing.
Still, we're very jealous of actress Emily Blunt's recent revelation that actor George Clooney let her his house to get married in. That's right, the actress has been gushing about silver fox George, calling him a "very kind man" and saying that she'll be forever grateful to the Oceans Eleven star for offering up his property in Lake Como, Italy.
Emily married her actor husband and star of The Office: An American Workplace John Krasinski back in July 2010, and Emily confessed that it was the perfect venue for their big day,
'Is it a ranch, would you call it a ranch. At his place. His lake, it was lovely, so beautiful. He was very nice to give it to us, it was very kind.''
George offered the property as he knew that Emily was desperate to wed her beau in private, away from prying eyes. Still, this did not guarantee the actor an invite to the couple's wedding. Emily continued,
"George we would love to get married at your place but can you leave? That would be great'' Charming.
Emily is now starring in Five-Year Engagement, a film which follows the long engagement of a c ouple and their struggle to try and reach the big day. However the Young Victoria star confessed that she thinks that she had the "right" distance between herself and John's engagement and wedding ceremony.
''It was like a year, that's how you do it, I think probably couples that have been engaged for many years will go and see this film and get into an argument.''
